Locally grown flowers, forever

flowers: fresh, dried, pressed.

So Many Flowers is based on a love for growing flowers and a desire to make them last as long as possible! I grow my flowers using commercial growing techniques and specialize in drying & pressing flowers and making beautiful art and home decor with them. It’s a lot of work, but there’s nothing I’d rather be doing! While fresh flowers from the garden are always available in the Hampton Roads area by request, I am often traveling around the Mid-Atlantic attending craft and makers markets. I am also provide custom bouquet preservations and special event flowers (both fresh and dried)!

Tell Me More About Flower Preservation!

I thought you’d never ask! Here are some of the techniques I use to preserve flowers:

-Many (but not all!) flowers can be dried by bunching and hanging them upside down for 2-3 weeks. I then use those flowers to create dried bouquets, wreaths, and cloche displays.

-More delicate flowers do well pressed. I have several flower presses that I use to flatted my flowers, which are then used in framed art and stained glass.

-Silica sand can be used to preserve flowers in their most life like state. These flowers can be used in shadowboxes or cloches.
